This impromptu episode was recorded minutes after I heard Tom Walker singing “For those who can’t be here” – a song he recorded about spending the first Christmas without his Grandfather.
I was immediately drawn back to the first Christmas without my dad and the strange mix of emotions I experienced that year – and the years that followed.
I have learned so much about emotions since then and so I recorded this episode as a way of sending a little love to my 15-year-old self and also as a way of offering some small comfort to those who are going through it this year.
